Conceicao believes Leao can reach world number one.
New AC Milan coach Sergio Conceicao is confident in Rafael Leao ability to become the world’s number one attacker.
Conceicao was frustrated during the semi-final against Juventus that his team defended too deep, whereas this evening they seemed to press Inter much higher.
“Exactly, if we want to be solid, then we need to keep the team close together and hold the shape,” confirmed the coach.
“We can do even better, but the defenders and midfielders must have courage. If we talk about the great Milan, it must not be afraid or sit back in defence.

Leao returned to full training on Sunday after recovering from an injury and came on as a 50th-minute substitute in the Supercoppa Italiana final as Inter Milan came from 2-0 down to win 3-2, with the Portuguese forward winning the first goal from a free kick and assisting on the winner.
“Leao is amazing. I’ve known him for a long time. We are both Portuguese, but he is a relaxed Portuguese and I am a more stressed Portuguese.”
