Bournemouth’s Brazilian striker Evanilson is set to be sidelined for some time after undergoing surgery to fix a fractured foot he suffered in a game at the weekend.

Bournemouth’s No.9 Evanilson suffered a foot injury in Saturday’s 1-0 Premier League win over Everton at the Vitality Stadium and was substitute in the 82nd minute.
Further assessment confirmed he had fractured a metatarsal and that it required an operation.
The Cherries say the surgery was successful but have not put a timescale on the 25-year-old’s recovery.
“The club’s medical staff will now provide Evanilson with their full support through the rehabilitation process, ensuring he has the best possible recovery,” read a statement.
Evanilson has scored five goals in 19 appearances since joining Bournemouth for a club record £40m deal from Porto in August.
Saturday’s win against the Toffees saw Bournemouth set a new club record of eight Premier League games unbeaten.
