Juventus send scouts to follow the form of Delap’s striker.

Juventus have sent scouts to watch in-demand Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap amid interest from Chelsea and Manchester United.

The Daily Mirror reports that Delap has caught the eye of Serie A giants Juventus. Who are looking for a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic in case the Serbian striker leaves the team in the summer of 2025.UFABET

Juventus are keen to extend Vlahovic’s current deal. Which would see him earn a reduced salary from his current deal. Which runs until mid-2026. But talks are no closer to an agreement and the Bianconeri could consider selling him in the summer of 2025 if the right offer is received.

Previously, there was news that Chelsea showed interest in Delap after seeing his performance, scoring 6 goals in the Premier League this season. He is suitable to be a future number 9 striker or a challenger to the position of Nicolas Jackson at present.

Delap only joined Ipswich Town from Manchester City last summer for a fee believed to be in the region of £15m and is Kieran McKenna’s top goal threat in the 2024-25 season. However, the Citizens have a buy-back clause.

However, Juventus aren’t alone in the race, as the source claims Chelsea and Man United are also on the player’s trail.

The young bomber is the son of Stoke City legend Rory Delap who became synonymous with long throw-ins during Tony Pulis’ time at Britania Stadium.
