Spurs 1 – Fulham 1

Spurs missed out on a home win after taking the lead against Fulham, only to be held to a 1-1 draw by the Cottagers, who had to share the points in Premier League Football.

Spurs had a chance in the first minute. When Timo Werner passed the ball to Son Heung-min who shot with his right foot in the penalty area but was saved by Bernd Leno. 

The home team continued to press on and had another chance in the 24th minute. When Son Heung-min headed the ball to Pedro Porro who tried a long shot from the edge of the penalty area but the ball went wide. 

Fulham had chances to hit back after the half-hour through Raul Jimenez and Sander Berge. But both were saved and missed the target.  UFABET 

38′ Spurs almost took the lead when James Maddison crossed for Radu Dragusin to head the ball in the penalty area, but Leno had to push it over the bar. 

Fulham almost got the same a few minutes later, Reiss Nelson’s pass to Alex Iwobi. Who found a right-footed shot that was saved by Fraser Forster. 

Before the end of the first half.

Spurs almost took the lead when James Maddison’s free kick went under the wall. But unfortunately the ball hit the post, resulting in a 0-0 draw at the end of the first half. 

The second half resumed with 9 minutes to go and Spurs got the goal they had been waiting for, 1-0. When Timo Werner got the ball in the left side of the penalty area. Before dropping it to the far post for Brennan Johnson to run and easily shoot into the goal.

However, Fulham equalised 1-1 in the 67th minute. When Alex Iwobi got the ball in the left side of the penalty area. Before passing it back to Tom Cairney who ran in and shot with his left foot, sending the ball curved past Forster and into the far post beautifully.

In the 83rd minute, Fulham were reduced to 10 men when Cairney, the equalizer, fouled Dejan Kulusevski. The referee checked VAR and then upgraded the score to a straight red card.

In the remaining time, Spurs, who had more players, could not score another goal to win. Ending the game in a 1-1 draw with Fulham, sharing 1 point each.
